With the IDA, fg branddesign receives another international design award for the anniversary communication of “Goldstadt Pforzheim”. Submission from over 52 countries make it one of the more internationally focused awards in the field of design. Among the awarded projects are selected works by international top brands such as Adidas, Facebook, Logitech and many more.

fg branddesign receives the highest award at the Muse Creative Awards 2017 and is excited about yet another recognition of the anniversary design for the “Goldstadt Pforzheim”. With more than 1500 submissions from 35 countries, the Muse Creative Award highlights international projects pioneering their field in various design disciplines. Among the submissions are selected projects by international top brands such as Walt Disney, Sony Pictures, Jaguar, MINI, Samsung, and many more.
BRAND DEVELOPMENT FOR A JOINT VENTURE OF ROBERT BOSCH STIFTUNG, CAREUM AND THE HEALTH FOUNDATION
With the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Careum and The Health Foundation three leading European foundations have joined forces to found “Sciana — The Health Leaders Network”. As an international platform of leading personalities and influencers, it aims at developing solutions to the core problems of the health sector. After winning the pitch in May 2016, fg branddesign was charged the development of entire brand from the strategic archetypal positioning, to developing the name as well as the extensive Corporate Design with a multitude of cross-media applications.
STRATEGIC POSITIONING AND CORPORATE DESIGN FOR TRONICPOOL
As a manufacturer-independent distributor of electronic components, Tronicpool serves a global client based in the electronics industry. The goal of working with fg branddesign was the strategic repositioning and design of the brand. Based on the archetypal positioning and following the newly developed guideline “Knowing the market. Understanding technology.” the entire brand appearance was redesigned.
SUCCESSFUL PITCH: LOGO DEVELOPMENT FOR “WEINWEGE WÜRTTEMBERG”
Under the umbrella brand “Weinwege Württemberg”, the Württemberg wine route, the Württemberg cycle path and the Württemberg hiking trail were to be grouped together in order to explore ways to experience the wine region Württemberg as multifaceted as possible. After winning the pitch, fg branddesign developed the logo for the touristic umbrella brand.
GERMAN DESIGN AWARD FOR “GOLDSTADT 250”
The design for the anniversary festival of the “Goldstadt Pforzheim”, developed by fg branddesign, received the “Winner” award at the German Design Award – hosted by the German Design Council. The prize is considered one of the highest design distinctions in the world. It’s goal is to discover and highlight international communication solutions that lead the way. The Corporate Design for the anniversary festival 2017 tells the story of the “Goldstadt” in a striking and memorable way through the use of a look that is based on watch faces and facettes. The communicational means will shape the cityscape during the anniversary year through posters, banners, the web and at events.

fg branddesign received two awards at this year’s International Design Award: KRAMSKI and beyerdynamic were recognised with “Special Mention” award for their outstanding Corporate Design. The international and interdisciplinary award highlights pioneering and groundbreaking design in the fields of architecture, interior, product and graphic design. Submissions were made from 52 countries.

Pforzheim looks ahead at it’s anniversary year with joyful anticipation. In 2017 the city celebrates the 250 year anniversary of it jewellery and watch industry. In time for blockbuster season, fg developed a cinema ad that serves as a teaser for the event.

COMMUNICATION CONCEPT “250 YEARS OF GOLDSTADT PFORZHEIM”
The “Goldstadt Pforzheim” will host a festival celebrating the 250 year anniversary of its watch and jewellery industry in 2017. fg branddesign designed and developed the communicational measures that will shape the city’s appearance in its anniversary year. Based on the principles of watch faces and facets, the Corporate Design tells the story of the “Goldstadt” in an immediate and memorable fashion, staging it across posters and banners, the web, events as well as merchandise and POS communications.
NEW WEBSITE FOR KRAMSKI PUTTER
fg branddesign has been supporting premium golf brand Kramski Putter since 2011, and has now completely redesigned the brand’s TYPO3-based website to turn it into a more effective communications and sales tool. The new site is built around responsive web design and presents the brand portfolio in a very direct way (including an online shop) while also showcasing the Kramski Putter Academy, which is promoted by additional multimedia content in the Player’s Channel area of the site.

BAM DEUTSCHLAND: ACCOUNT WIN AND SPECIAL WEBSITE
One of Germany’s leading construction companies, BAM Deutschland – the German subsidiary of Dutch Royal BAM Group – specializes in planning and erecting large turnkey projects. fg branddesign has been the company’s lead agency since January 2015. As well as creating an image campaign for display on large construction sites, one of the agency’s first major jobs for the company was to design and create a special TYPO3-based, mobile-compatible website to showcase the company’s wide range of projects and services, in great detail but in a fun way. An innovative site navigation concept, smart filters, clear iconography and design language, and major use of architecture and project photos combine to create an impressive website experience sure to enthuse customers and potential applicants equally.
DEXINA CORPORATE DESIGN WINS CO&CO AWARD
Dexina’s brand design won the Selected Award from German corporate design magazine CO&CO. The company’s brand image is showcased in CO&CO’s current “100% black” edition, alongside many other outstanding projects.
CINEMA AD FOR KRAMSKI GROUP
fg branddesign developed and created a cinema ad for Kramski Group’s recruitment campaign. The ad uses graphic animation and consists of a promotional ad plus a follow-up that appeals directly to potential applicants. The ad has been showing in regional cinemas since the release of Spectre, the latest James Bond film, and was also rolled out on social media.
ANNIVERSARY COMMUNICATIONS FOR “250 YEARS OF PFORZHEIM, CITY OF GOLD”
fg branddesign beat 3 other agencies to win the contract for Pforzheim’s “city of gold” anniversary festival in 2017, which celebrates the 1767 founding of the city’s jewelry and watchmaking industry. fg branddesign’s job is to design the communications for the anniversary festival – conveying a wide range of content and appealing to different target groups while also laying the foundations for Ornamenta, a future series of events to be held in Pforzheim during and after the anniversary year.
CORPORATE DESIGN FOR NEW HIGH-END AUDIO BRAND
fg branddesign helped high-end manufacturer Höffner Audio create its brand. As well as establishing the brand’s strategic positioning based on an existing archetype, the agency was also responsible for naming the brand, designing its logo, developing the brand’s guiding principle and visualizing this in the form of its corporate design.
KEYSIGHT FILM PROJECTS IN MALAYSIA AND GERMANY
fg branddesign has been working with leading US measuring instrument manufacturer Keysight Technologies (formerly Agilent Technologies) for five years now, providing support for its global used equipment and trade-in program. To promote these product areas, fg branddesign designed and created two product videos shot at the company’s German headquarters in Böblingen and at its Malaysian production site in Penang, one of the largest worldwide in the industry.

fg branddesign receives two German Design Awards 2015 in the “Excellent Communications Design – Corporate and Brand Design” category. For the Corporate Design of Dexina AG the agency received a “Winner” award. Whilst the nomination for the award itself can be considered a highlight, the actual award expresses the outstanding quality of this project. The jury statement reads: „An appealing, serious design that perfectly conveys the company’s claim “People Changing Business”.
The second award is a “Special Mention” and goes to the product introduction campaign for Avantgarde Acoustic’s speaker “Zero 1”
NEW BRAND APPEARANCE FOR KRAMSKI GROUP
After successfully working together on KRAMSKI PUTTER, fg branddesign was tasked with realigning and maintaining the communicational means of the entire KRAMSKI GROUP. Based on the archetypal positioning the new claim “Perfection needs Personality” was created which guided the redesign of the whole brand appearance.
GLOBAL MESSAGING CONCEPT FOR KEYSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES
In August 2014 the leading test and measurement manufacturer was renamed from Agilent to Keysight Technologies. Alongside this process fg branddesign carried out the redesign of the global messaging for the used equipment and trade-in business.

The DEXINA Corporate design, developed by fg branddesign, received an iF communication design award 2014. The iF communication design award is considered on of the most renowned international design competitions for groundbreaking design for more than 60 years.
FG BRANDDESIGN SUPPORTS NEWCOMER-BAND FOR A GOOD CAUSE
The newcomer band “GESTATTEN SIE” delivers their first summer hit with the release of their first single “GERDI”. The best thing about it: 100% of the sales revenues will be donated to the foundation “Artists for Kids”. Reason enough for fg to support the band not without charging any fees: website, video production, print communications, social media marketing all the way down to naming the band – fg branddesign is responsible for all the communicational means of the band.

As a service provider in corporate consulting Dexina supports its clients in designing a natural, depoliticized and therefore target-oriented working culture. The communicational challenge for fg branddesign was to find visual means of expression for the unique gravitational field of Dexina. Based on the archetypal position of being “the pure/the idealist” and lead by the new claim “People changing Business” the entire identity of the brand was redesigned.
GOLD FOR FG BRANDDESIGN AT THE WORLD MEDIA FESTIVAL
For the second time a project for the client Avantgarde Acoustic will receive a gold award at the World Media Festival. As one of the renowned international awards in its field the World Media Festival attracts big brands from around the world and awards outstanding solutions in corporate video, web and print for more than 10 years. Gold will be awarded to the product video “Spherical Horns – The technology behind Purity and Performance” which was developed by fg branddesign.

Being the first fully active and fully digital horn loudspeaker system, the ZERO 1 marks a new era in high-end audio. “Agilent Premium Used Equipment” is the brand name for the refurbished product section of the US-based test and measurement manufacturer Agilent Technologies. But what is actually “premium” about these instruments? Why is it worth it opt for used equipment directly from the manufacturer? The video, scripted and created by fg branddesign, provides the answer. The shooting of the video took place in Penang, Malaysia at one of the world’s largest test and measurement manufacturing sites and was directed by fg branddesign on site.

Just like last year, two projects by fg branddesign were nominated for the German Design Award: the new Corporate Design for the renowned audio brand beyerdynamic as well as the “Smart Notebook” for the world’s premier measurement manufacturer Agilent Technologies. The German Design Award is an international award, focusing on top-class design achievements in the fields of product and communication design. The award is organized by the German Design Council, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

BRONZE AWARD AT NEW YORK FESTIVALS
fg branddesign was awarded a bronze medal at this year’s New York Festivals. The awarded project is the corporate movie “Purity meets Performance – The voice of Avantgarde Acoustic”. By now the New York Festivals award the best movies and TV shows for more than 54 years. With submissions from over 40 countries it is one of the biggest international TV and movie festivals in the world.

The newly developed Corporate Design based on the Archetypal Positioning by fg branddesign is ready to be rolled out across all media. The aim is to put a stronger focus on the brands know-how and project competencies. In less than 10 years Kramski Putter managed to establish itself as a premium brand within the international golf scene. In early 2011 fg branddesign was entrusted with the task of enhancing the brands strategical and visual sector. Based on the archetypal brand positioning as a “leader” brand and lead by the newly developed claim “Mastering the Green” the brands visual identity underwent a fundamental re-design. The most important implementations were the extensive new website, the image brochure as well as a wide ranging ad campaign in special interest magazines.

PRODUCT LAUNCH CAMPAIGN FOR THE XA AMPLIFIER SERIES
fg branddesign developed the worldwide launch campaign for the XA amplifier series by Avantgarde Acoustic. The german high-end manufacturer hired the creative team based in Stuttgart to create the entire product related brand appearance. fg branddesign was awarded with twice during the international Corporate Media Festival ceremony. For their work on “Purity meets Performance – The voice of Avantgarde Acoustic” fg branddesign was given the “Master of Excellence Award”. Furthermore Frank Rösner and Georgios Simoudis received the “Award of Master” – an individual award for best creative performance in the competition. The jury emphasized the exceptionally emotional and authentic portrayal of the people behind Avantgarde Acoustic, as well as the dramaturgic handling of music as an essential element of the video. The festival honors outstanding solutions in Corporate Video-, New Media, Web- and System-Productions since 1990.

The iF design award is one of the most famous international design competitions and is considered one of the biggest of its kind.

NEW BUSINESS: AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES TRUSTS IN FG BRANDDESIGN
Agilent Technologies is the worlds leading measurement company. With an annual turnover of over 4.5 billion dollars the company that emerged ten years ago from Hewlett Packard now leads the market for test and measurement products. The task for fg branddesign is the archetypal positioning of manufacturer certified used instruments and the subsequent development of a comprehensive guideline that conveys the advantages of premium used instruments and the corresponding trade-in-business in an intuitive and convincing way.
COOPERATING WITH HOCHSCHULE PFORZHEIM UNIVERSITY
fg branddesign will be overseeing a project in the Masters degree course “Creative Communication & Brand Management”. During the summer semester four graduate students will develop a marketing concept for our client Avantgarde Acoustic.
The goal is to establish the brand guideline “Purity meets performance” developed by fg branddesign for a wider target group through brand cooperations, events and PR and therefore improve the brand publicity of horn loudspeakers. Avantgarde Acoustic and fg branddesign are looking forward to this cooperation and the results of the graduate students.
CES LAS VEGAS
AVANTGARDE ACOUSTIC INTRODUCES THE NEW BRAND APPEARANCE TO ITS DISTRIBUTORS
The new brand appearance developed by fg branddesign has been introduced exclusively to a small group of international distributors during the CES in Las Vegas. The newly developed brand positioning as well as the image brochure based on it have been received extremely well. A record showing that the “purity meets performance”-theme really hits the brands core and works great internationally.
